Pink lady JWoww matches her streaked hair to her wardrobe for Jersey Shore laundry day

For a while it seemed that Jennifer 'JWoww' Farely had swapped her usual flamboyant look for a more sophisticated style.

But it was quite clear that the JWoww of old was back today as she emerged with an outfit which matched the bright pink streaks she's currently sporting through her hair.

The 25-year-old squeezed her curves into a tight pale pink t-shirt and slipped on some matching sneakers as she joined her Jersey Shore housemates for laundry day.

She also carried a pink laundry bag, which no doubt carried other garments in her seemingly favourite shade.

Happy about the thought of some clean clothes, the make-up free reality star beamed as she took her heavy load into the establishment.

But for lucky Peaches Geldof that wish is indeed a reality. As she took a walk in London today a huge trolley containing at least 13 large bags of washing was being carted into her hotel.

Along with it came a guitar case and bags of new clothes, delivered by her driver.

Who's doing her laundry? Peaches Geldof certainly isn't getting her hands dirty as she returns to London after the Cannes Film Festival

The 20-year-old was returning from Cannes, where she has entertained herself by attending glamorous parties and walking the red carpet.

She worked the 80s look, in tight stone-washed jeans, tucked in T-shirt and cropped black bomber jacket - along with a fabric hairband.

First she was spotted working up a sweat in the gym in her new hometown of Florence, Italy yesterday.

And today Jennifer 'JWoww' Farley put her muscles to work as she carried a huge bag of laundry around town. 

The 25-year-old handled the pink drawstring sack as she and her castmates continued their beloved GTL - gym, tanning, laundry routine.

Rugby World Cup Countdown.

One game gone, two to go in the world cup countdown as England beat Wales 23 - 19 on Saturday. Lewis Moody limped off at the end, again but has been keen to reassure us that he was OK and not to be concerned about his fitness for the World Cup. With Mike Tindalls Six Nations success, the question is being asked...Who will captain England for the World Cup? The mystery of the missing socks still just that..a mystery!

Don't mock the missing sock: Lost laundry costs us £240 a year

The curse of the lost sock isn't just a domestic nuisance - it can cost a staggering £240 a year per household.

Missing socks are most likely to affect male members of the household, resulting in 80 per cent of young men ending up wearing mismatched ones at least once a week 

Researchers haven't resolved the mystery of where they go, but they have established that a family of four will lose up to sixty socks every year.

And it's not just cheap everyday socks that disappear in the washing machine. 

Costly ski socks, football socks and walking socks are just as likely to vanish.

The result - apart from the cost of replacing them - is that 82 per cent of young men say they'll end up wearing odd socks at least once a week.

Missing socks are most likely to affect the male members of the household, a national survey of 1,500 Brits by laundry specialists Dr. Beckmann found. 

Northern men are top of the list as the most likely victims of sock disappearances, with 67 per cent reporting that they lose up to 15 socks a year.

Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds are the next most likely places for socks to go missing. 

Black socks are the most likely candidates to go missing, with 78 per cent of those surveyed complaining that these are the most difficult sock colour to pair up after a washing cycle.

Young men aged 14 to 25 are at a higher risk of suffering from missing socks and 82 per cent of this age group admit to wearing odd socks on a weekly basis as a result. 

Conversely, females in the same age bracket are most likely to be able to keep track of their sock pairs as only 21 per cent said that they regularly lost a sock in the wash each week.

Laura Unsworth, from Dr. Beckmann, said: 'The majority of people in the UK have fallen victim to lost socks whilst doing their laundry. This phenomenon has long been an affliction of regular washers - these research findings will surely resonate with everybody who has pulled a single sock out of the washer drum.

'Where the socks go is one of life's great mysteries - clearly this is causing some distress and a great deal of inconvenience to Britain's washing population.'

The Royal couple welcome President Obama.

Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge today welcomed the President of the United States to Buckingham Palace in their first big test as a Royal couple.

Fresh from their Seychelles honeymoon, a well-tanned Duchess of Cambridge performed her Royal duties with aplomb as she spoke to Mr and Mrs Obama in a 10-minute private meeting.

There were smiles all round moments earlier when the Obamas arrived at Buckingham Palace and were met by the Queen and Prince Philip.

They arrived in the Presidential limousine known as The Beast, which pulled into the front of Buckingham Palace just before noon.

It is only the third state visit by a U.S. president to the UK in 100 years. Mr Obama came to London two years ago but it was for the G20 global summit meeting.

The phenomenon that is YouTube

Well the Royal Wedding seems a long time ago now but what fun people had having impromptu street parties and really getting into the spirit of celebration. It was great to see people enjoying themselves so much and for us at Barker Group it was great for business too, seeing our sales in stiff collars rise significantly during the run up as some of our clients and many of the guests wore stiff collars to the wedding. It's great to see.

We as a nation do seem to enjoy the age old traditions and the wedding was an opportunity to enjoy the full pomp and ceremony that we in Britain do so well, however, as many people have observed ,it would have been nice to see more smiles all round and a little less formality on such a happy occasion. This video below, posted on YouTube brought a smile to many peoples faces and reminded us that as human beings our greatest success is if we can enjoy every day, smile, laugh and be authentic and not take life or ourselves too seriously!

Vinegar...Good for washing clothes in?

Yes thats right - Vinegar has many surprising uses and here's another one! It is excellent for removing grease from suede. Dip a toothbrush in some vinegar - distilled white or apple cider vinegar both work well - and gently brush over the grease spot.

Also, to prevent colours from fading, add half a cup to the rinse cycle. And remember to turn your clothes inside out which also helps prevent fading.
